Designed for small and medium business needs, the LaCie 4TB Ethernet Disk 19 RACK NAS is powered by the field-proven Windows XP Embedded operating system that provides what you need for data backup, storage, and file-sharing through its Gigabit Ethernet interface. Thanks to its Active Directory compatibility, the LaCie 4TB Ethernet Disk 19 RACK NAS, Window® XP Embedded supports a total of 100 users with customizable access rights to different shares, with up to 25 concurrent users. The LaCie 4TB Ethernet Disk 19 RACK NAS, Windows® XP Embedded has been specifically developed to provide data protection for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Unix-based workstations, and as such ships with three licenses of both Genie Backup Manager Pro for Windows and Intego Backup Manager Pro for Mac, which can perform scheduled file backups for workstations as well as computer recovery in the event of a major disaster. For Mac users, its also Time Machine compatible.
